Description
The Petzl ASAP Fall Arrester is a mobile fall-arrest device designed for rope access and work at height. It moves freely along the rope without manual operation and automatically stops falls or uncontrolled descents. It can be used as a primary belay device in a fall-arrest system or as a back-up device in a rope access system when paired with a compatible energy absorber.

- Stops falls and uncontrolled descents exceeding 2 m/s
- Locks onto the rope even if grabbed during a fall
- Suitable for vertical, horizontal and angled rope
- Moves up and down the rope without manual adjustment
- Easy to install and remove at any point along the rope
- Compatible with ASAP’SORBER 20 or 40 energy absorbers for users weighing up to 140 kg
- Compatible with the ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber for two-person rescue scenarios with a load of up to 250 kg
- Can be used as a primary belay device in a fall-arrest system or as a back-up belay device in a rope access system
