Shipping Policy

Note on Stock Availability: Please note, our stock is held across all our retail stores as well as a central distribution centre; Your order may have to be consolidated from more than one location or, should it be necessary, the vendor’s warehouse.

Delivery Fees:

For orders to the value of R750 or more, standard deliveries are FREE within the contiguous territory of South Africa*.
Delivery to certain outlying addresses, including some farms may not be possible – and in this instance delivery will be made to the nearest depot.
For orders below R750, the handling fee is R150, additional shipping fees may be added for bulky items.

* Additional shipping and handling charges will be added for heavy and/or large items, these can be identified by the BULKY tag
The shipping charge for these items will appear in your Shopping Basket before checkout.

Click and Collect

Should you wish to collect your order, during the checkout process – simply select which store or pick up point you would like to collect from.

Currently we offer this service from any of our stores, as well as a Pick Up Point in Diep River, Cape Town.

Once your order is ready for collection, we will inform you.

Expected Time frames:

Standard delivery takes place during office hours. Unfortunately you cannot select the exact date, or time, for the delivery. There are no standard deliveries after hours, over weekends or on public holidays. Please take this into consideration when selecting your delivery address.

Delivery time frames depend on the your delivery address, and whether your order is being fulfilled from our CT warehouse, JHB or PTA warehouse or both (consolidated order).
For main centres the delivery time is usually 2-4 working days.
For outlying areas: usually 4-7 working days.

Please note that during high volume periods like seasonal sales, Black Friday or Cyber Monday, Camp and Climb reserves the right to extend their delivery time frames. Camp and Climb will ensure the customer is presented with the extended delivery times before committing to the order.

Delivery Availability:

If nobody is available at the address at the time of delivery, our courier will make a second attempt to deliver on the next working day. The courier will try once more (third attempt), and if at that time there is still no one to sign for the parcel, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse and a return will be processed for the goods. You will be refunded in the same payment method which was used for the order. Should a delivery fee have been charged on the order, this will not be reimbursed, given that the courier has attempted delivery on numerous occasions.
